I have updated the two articles to give a solution to fix the security issue you can see on Snow (or maybe Leo & Tiger) regarding these two apps:

GMA OverClocking - Boost your GMA to run at 400Mhz

ClunKiller - Kill your Hard Drive *Clunk* noises!

The solution was to fix permissions:

ClunKiller:

Open a Terminal window and type:

sudo chown -R root:wheel /Library/StartupItems/ClunKiller

Enter your password etc.

GMA OverClocking:

Open a Terminal window and type:

sudo chown -R root:wheel /Library/StartupItems/overclock_GPU

Enter your password etc.

Edit: ClunKiller doesn't work properly under Snow.
