FIX: Sleep

(Read this article if you have installed my previous Sleep Fix versions: Sleep fix for 10.5.8 - Final release? Very Happy)

Install SleepEnabler.kext using Kext Helper.

Reboot.

If it doesn't work, please contact pista7 on this thread!

NOTE: You need to delete my VoodooHDA global sleep issue scripts (if you have installed them) in order to make sound working after sleep. If you have the volume set to max issue, just use the new VoodooHDA volume set to max after wakeup fix available here: Do you have problems when your computer wakes from sleep?

STILL DOESN'T WORK?: Make sure you have Disabler.kext into your /System/Library/Extensions folder or /Extra/Extensions. It seems some users can't make sleep working with AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext & SleepEnabler.kext working at the same time. Disabler.kext disables AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext, so only SleepEnabler.kext is loaded and no more issues! To make Speedstep working don't forget that you need VoodooPower.kext (Some custom versions of this kext for your processor can be found around the web... Mine for the Atom processor is here: VoodooPower.kext.zip ~ 20ko feel free to try).

Disabler.kext & AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext are available here if you need them: AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement&Disabler.zip ~ 76ko

FIX: AboutThisMac**:

Install the package.

Reboot.

Only for N270 processors! It just fixes the About This Mac processor information, but does nothing else. (This patch is not needed!)

FIX: Battery**

Install the kext file using Kext Helper.

Reboot.

FIX: BlueTooth*

Install the kext file using Kext Helper.

Reboot.

FIX: Time Machine*

Install the kext file using Kext Helper.

Reboot.

FIX: GMA950**

Install the kext, plugin and bundle files using Kext Helper.

Reboot.

FIX: Hardware_System_Profiler

Put the file into /System/Library/SystemProfiler (replace).

Reboot.

FIX: HotKeys_Enabler** (http://ipis-osx.wikidot.com/forum/t-141750/ipis-osx)

Install the kext file using Kext Helper.

Reboot.

Hi Thireus.
Thanks for the great stuff.
For some reason my Asus 1000H is stuck at 800x600.
I've tried different kexts' which mostly render the screen blue and locked.
I've tried a new DisplayProductID-717 with no result and used your AppleIntelIntegratedFramebuffer.kext but kept all other 10.5.8 files as they were.
I installed 10.5.7 iAtkos fine and it worked at 1024x600 by default, then I used Software Update to go to 10.5.8 and now I'm stuck at 800x600.
I also used the SwitchResX method I've seen around but it always says "Needs to reboot" after my custom resolution (copied from websites) and never makes 1024x600 available.
Any clues would be helpful.. Thanks! Smile

2- Go to /System/Library/Displays and replace the Overrides folder.
3- Reboot
4- Check if you have the 1024x600 res into your display pref pane

Thanks!

Actually I solved this by editing the file with a Hex Editor and changing some values by hand. I found it on the OSX86 Forum and gave it a shot. Worked well!

Thx Thireus for the fixes. I also have a eee 1000h and after applying the GMA950, I get a blue screen after rebooting. I selected all the files and used Kext Helper. Anything I'm missing?

Try a to install them manually & repair permissions, Kext Helper fails!

Thx Thireus... I got this working by installing the DSDT. I got everything working right now except for the Ethernet. somehow it is not finding it... Do you have an idea on this?

Yep, I think it's related to your material specs. Is it working if you plug the Ethernet before booting on Leo?
Because I wasn't able to make Ethernet working correctly too but now it works like a charm... You should have a look at smbios.plist :/ But I'm totally sure...

Hi, I NEED HELP!!!!

Well, everything works quit fine on my wind, except two things :
When i unplug the ethernet during a session, or when the computer wakes up from sleep i loose the connection and must reboot.
The second thing is that i can't get the dual screen, or it bugs when i plug it or it creates artifacts. I have tried everything i found in the forums but nothing works.
Have an idea? A track?
I'm stuck there, and worst than everything i'm stuck with the "mirror mode" activated, so i even can't use switchresX to try something about the resolutiona and its clocks...
Help!!

i'm exhausted....

About Ethernet I had this issue before, but now it seems to be fixed (I don't know how I did it :/)

Your second issue cannot be fixed with the kext I provide. You have to ask on the MSI Wind Forum.
